SOCIAL MEDIA
Without getting too deep here, the Internet, like the universe, is constantly expanding. There are new tools, new sites, new platforms, new rules, and new galaxies being discovered all the time. But before you get overwhelmed thinking your business is going to get sucked into a black hole of online oblivion, I can help. By developing a social media strategy that is active instead of reactive, strategic instead of tactical, I’ll put down some objectives and metrics that will make your strategy perform in line with your goals, improving your customer relationships and better still, your bottom line.

Any good social media strategy consists of the below four steps, planning, content creation, advertising and review and retarget. Working across the platforms relevant to your audience, we can effectively meet your social media and marketing goals.
STEP 1: PLANNING
Social media and its effects impact all areas of your company - sales/marketing, production, customer service, legal, etc. That’s why it’s crucial that together, we develop an in-depth creative and strategic plan which has the bigger picture in mind for your business. The strategy will include a full eco system audit, customer journey audit, a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and a plan for conversion rate optimisation. Before we get started I will ensure that you are fully-set up in all social media and advertising channels relevant to your audience so that we can kick-off a campaign as soon as we get the green light.

STEP 2: CONTENT
I can assist with copywriting and graphic design to map out the content for your digital marketing activities a month in advance. I like to think in campaigns and work towards clear goals, such as increasing your online audience, increasing reach, etc. By mapping out what we are going to promote, we are able to see the bigger picture but also know exactly what’s going out at a specific time. I can offer to create, design and schedule posts (including audience targeting and boosts) so you can focus on responses, new customers and running your business.

STEP 3: ADVERTISING
Each popular social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and Twitter) have its own form of paid advertising. Here is the confusing news: most of these platforms are not actually a social network but a search engine based on a very complex algorithm, yes including Facebook. But there is also good news: You can train an algorithm to your advantage - and I am experienced in exactly that. Together, we will focus on a succinct advertising strategy on the relevant social media platforms which will include past customer, current customers and prospects. Furthermore, we will build lookalike audiences based on the intelligence we collect on the platform. Our strategy includes the growth and reach of your page, targeted website traffic to your site (and/or landing pages), and re-targeting website visitors. The goal for most businesses is conversions and I can get you there.

STEP 4: MONITERING and RETARGETING
Reviewing and analysing the response to each campaign for your specific target audience is key in seeing what's working in order to maximising effectiveness. No matter how we get in front of the desired target audience, it is important that we capture their details and get them off social media into a digital sales funnel. I know from experience, and studies have shown that people need to see your ads 5-8 times before they take any action (click through, enquire, etc.) This is why re-targeting is so important. Getting audiences to click to the website, as once someone visits your website, we can install a tracking code on their browser (cookie) and then re target them via your social networks and advertising outlets.
